Cheb Bilal, whose real name is Moufok Bilal, is an Algerian raï singer born on July 23, 1966 in Cherchell. He began his musical career in the 80s as a backing singer for Cheb Khaled and Cheb Faudel. In 1991, he released his first album, "Babor LI Jebni", which proved a great success. Since then, he has released numerous albums and become one of the most popular Raï singers in Algeria and the Arab world.
