The Colts, hailing from Los Angeles, were one of the best R&B vocal groups of the fifties. They consisted of vocalists Ruben Grundy, his brother Joe, Carl Morland and Leroy Smith. The Colts version of "Adorable" inspired Jerry Wexler of Atlantic records to get the Drifters to cover it, producing one of the best cover records ever made. Featured here are many of the Colts' best loved singles including the original version of "Adorable". All selections newly remastered.
