Correa / Ospina / Kondraschewa - La Ruta [CD]

Reminiscences of a Marimba de Chonta? An earworm from the Caribbean? Primal sounds from the rainforest? On this voyage of discovery, the Bremen piano duo KONDRASCHEWA/CHICA have placed their focus on accessible new music. Some of the works, which come exclusively from Colombia, have their origins in the traditional, others are characterized by a universal aesthetic. In this production, conventional piano playing meets modern playing techniques, as well as two pianos meets four-handed playing on one instrument.
