Macula Dog - Eyes Of Love [LP]

Limited seven inch vinyl pressing of this 2016 EP. Eyes of Love is the live project of LA born/NYC based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andrea Schiavelli. An occasional player for Nude Beach, past member of Punks On Mars and keyboard improviser, Schiavelli is joined by Christina Schneider on guitar and vocals (Ce Schneider Topical), Gary Canino on bass (Rips, Dark Tea), Tyler Evans on guitar/bass (Ed Askew Band) & Jo Miller Gamble on drums (Big French, Blanche Blanche Blanche). The resulting S/T debut single was recorded in December 2015 at analog basement hub and OSR Manual FX in Brooklyn NY. Recorded, produced and live mixed over a weekend by true wiz and OSR tapes mensch Zach Phillips, the EP features open-reel dub tactics and shocker percussion, coupled with flinch-less plucking and steady-fisted song craft.
