Mink DeVille was one of the early house bands at CBGB's during the rise of the New York City punk scene. 'Return to Magenta' continued in the vein of the first album 'Cabretta', with a mixture of rock, soul, blues, and Latin rhythms. With the looks of a real "Carribean Pirate", DeVille knows the truth of a city street and the courage in a ghetto love song.
