Minami Kitasono's first full-length album, Meridian, was composed entirely in full score and recorded overseas remotely to complete a large-format composition in a single apartment room. This album has been described as a 'next-generation home recording album.' The album includes 'Meridian,' a grand opening track that incorporates horns and strings, the truly Kitasono-style city pop of 'Stagnation by Halfword,' the upper funk number 'Structure of Funk,' which is a new frontier for the band, and many other songs with complex compositions that straddle a variety of genres.
