But what began as a reconstruction transformed almost entirely into something new: a fresh collection of pieces that captures the spirit of their early releases without simply copying them. The duo looks back while simultaneously creating the future. Tracks like "Kill Bill Vol. 4," "Edgar," and other album titles served as source material, were repeatedly disassembled and reassembled, reinterpreted, and ultimately used, in most cases, only as abstract inspiration. The result is a retrospective that has emancipated itself.
