Debussy's 'Clair de Lune' is perfect for listening to during the harvest moon, when the moon is at it's most beautiful. The second movement, 'Twilight Color,' from Toshio Mashima's 'Kurenai' depicts the golden glow of street trees in the quiet autumn twilight, creating an overall emotional autumn atmosphere. The special duet with Ayako Maeda, a flute player with the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra and commissioner of 'Kurenai,' is also captivating. The album closes with a new piece, 'Map of the Stars,' by Suguru Haga, written specifically for this album.
