Best known as the first African American woman to star in her own hour long drama television series, singer and actress Teresa Graves, star of the series "Get Christie Love!" was nominated for the 1975 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a TV Drama. An accomplished singer as well, Graves recorded the self titled classic soul album presented here in 1970, performing songs by Fred Neil ("Everybody's Talkin'"); Lennon and McCartney ("Hey Jude"), Stevie Wonder ("My Cherie Amour") plus original compositions written by producers Ritchie Adams and Mark Barkan.
