Hailing from the Camden, New Jersey / Philadelphia area, a part of the country that became a breeding ground for great vocal groups such as the O'Jays, Stylistics and Blue Magic, comes Tru, a highly versatile group that brings the sweet sound of Philly Soul forward for a new generation. Led by vocalist Jimi Williams, Tru also features the talents of Billy Maynor and Kenny McIlwaine. Once again, the trio teams with legendary producer Butch Ingram and his equally legendary family band, augmented here by Charles Lundy, for this special six-track EP that features the songs Am I Dreaming, I Don't Need You Know and Day Dreaming in both vocal and instrumental form.
